A cleanout job is different from a single-item pickup. You’re clearing a space — sometimes everything in it, sometimes most of it. We handle estate cleanouts, garage cleanouts, storage unit clearances, basement and attic purges, and high-volume accumulation situations across Lexington and Central Kentucky. Go Big Blue is veteran-owned with 139 five-star Google reviews — including a lot of estate and cleanout work where the circumstances are difficult and people remember how you handled it.
The job is the same regardless of how the space got there: our crew does the lifting and loading, we take everything you’re getting rid of, and we sweep up before we leave.

Estate cleanouts. After a loss or a major life transition, clearing a home is a job that needs to happen at the right pace. We work with family members, estate attorneys, and property managers. We don’t rush, we don’t price gouge on volume, and we separate items for donation before anything goes to disposal.
Garage cleanouts. The standard Lexington garage: two decades of tools, seasonal gear, furniture from three different apartments, and a box no one has opened since 2011. We load all of it. You keep what you want, we haul the rest.
Storage unit cleanouts. Lots of customers find they’ve been paying for a unit longer than it made sense. We clear the unit, load everything, and you’re done with the monthly bill. Call to check current availability — most storage unit cleanouts schedule within 1–3 days.
Basement and attic purges. Full basement or attic cleanouts are common in the older homes across Chevy Chase, Tates Creek, and the UK area. Below-grade removal — appliances, furniture, built-up junk — is routine for us.
High-volume and extreme cleanout situations. We approach these jobs without judgment. The work is physically demanding and often emotionally difficult for the people involved. We’ve done these across Lexington and Nicholasville. We take what needs to go, follow the family’s lead, and leave the space clear.
We separate usable items for donation before hauling to disposal. Furniture, household goods, and working appliances that can be rehomed go to the Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Ronald McDonald House — our regular charity partners. What can’t be donated goes to proper disposal.
Cleanouts are priced by volume — how much space the haul takes in the truck. Larger cleanouts may require multiple truck runs. We quote on-site after seeing the scope. No fees to come out, no obligation to book.
Yes. Whole-house and whole-property cleanouts are one of our core jobs. We’ve cleared properties that needed everything removed — furniture, appliances, boxes, accumulated junk — in a single day or across multiple trips for larger volumes.
We separate items for donation from items going to disposal as part of our standard process. If you need us to leave specific items behind or make decisions about individual pieces, plan to be on-site or designate someone who knows the property to make those calls.
A typical two-bedroom home’s worth of content takes 3–5 hours for a full crew. Larger properties, more volume, or below-grade content (full basements) run longer. We give you an estimate after seeing the job and stick to it.
We quote by volume, so if the job turns out to be larger than expected, we’ll tell you before we start hauling — not after. No surprise charges at the end of the job.
Yes. We work with agents, property managers, and landlords on pre-listing cleanouts, tenant moveout cleanouts, and between-tenant clearing. We can coordinate scheduling directly with tenants or meet you at the property. Contact us for volume work or recurring relationships.
